Here’s how it works:

You choose your first flavor, and then fill the tovolo popsicle molds part way with it. Then you insert the flavor separator mold – it’s a silicon sleeve that creates a hollow space within the popsicle as it freezes. Place the ice pops in the freezer until the first flavor is completely frozen.

Then you remove the flavor separator, fill the hollow middle with your second flavor, and return it to the freezer. 

And voila! You’ve got ice pops with distinct outer and inner layers – sort of a frozen Tootsie Roll Pop!

Half the fun will be just dreaming up new combos of flavor and texture.

How about a fruity, juicy outer shell with a creamsicle middle. Maybe a peaches-and-cream-sicle. Or maybe a frozen custard shell with a fudgesicle middle?

These Tovolo pop molds come in a set of 3. The base is just 3 inches by 8 inches; likely to fit in even the most space-challenged of freezers. You can just keep the base in the freezer, and remove and replace individual popsicles as desired.

Another nice feature is the handle of this popsicle mold. It’s an all-in-one stick and drip guard. The drip guard probably isn’t going to catch every single dribble, but every drop caught is one less you’ll have to clean up!
